iPad: My Thoughts

Today Apple announced the iPad tablet. I agree that they could’ve chosen a better name for it, but I prefer it vs the rumored “iSlate.” I wasn’t super excited for the announcement this morning, yet by the end of the keynote I was sold.
The iPad looks like a work of art, and fits in perfectly with the Apple family. What sold me was you can put iWork on it since I have recently fallen in love with iWork. Once I get an iPad it will replace the paper notebooks that I use for school, using it to taking notes and having my textbooks in it.
One of my other favorite parts was the calendar. Its like the Apple calendar I always dreamed of for my iPhone, but could never find that perfect app.
I’m not sad about it not having a camera. I didn’t really care for that since I have two cameras plus my iPhone, but a front facing camera for video conferencing would have been neat. Multitasking would have been nice to have.
It has a bunch of other cool features that I’m not going to mention since I may not use them because what interests me the most is that I can use it for school. Plus I’m sure you might already know them all. If not I suggest you watch the video on Apple.com/iPad.
I will definitely be getting one. Will you?
New blog URL

As of today I have changed my blog’s url from “geogurl.com” to “georginatena.com” as that is my name and what I will be known as professionally. But I will also add that I’m “Also known as geo or geogurl” too.
I have moved all my blog posts from my old blog onto this one so you can still check those out if you’d like, but I shall be blogging here more often now that I’m living in Los Angeles.
